LIFE & STYLE // Peds Residency Graduation

On Tuesday June 9, 2015 I was one of the first graduates of the inaugural class of the Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Pediatric Residency Program.  I can’t express enough how grateful, proud, humbled I am to have been granted the privilege to work and learn at such an amazing institution with such wonderful human beings. I will truly miss my lovely colleagues at LVHN and I am so thankful for EVERYTHING that everyone has done! Definitely would not have made it through residency without them and the grace of GOD! 😊

Missguided definitely came through for me once again with this graduation outfit!

Black jumpsuit – Missguided  (similar HERE) / Gold plated belt – Missguided / Black strapped sandals with Gold T-strap – Forever21 (similar from Missguided)

Looking forward to the next chapter…. 🙂

Love and God Bless,

– T

Style // Interview Stylespiration

Hello from vacation land!!!  Y’all this is probably going to be the absolute laziest/most restful vacation ever.  I have absolutely no plans whatsoever.  And….yeah. Not sure I’m going to make any either lol.  Don’t get me wrong, I definitely want to hang out with my friends and loved ones.  But my energy level is on close to E as of late so unless plans are already made, I just….might stay in this very bed and watch BET and blog…as I’m currently doing.  Don’t judge me…lol

In other news!  In the midst of vacation, I’m also mentally preparing for fellowship interviews and with that comes suit shopping!!! Woo-hoo!  Yes, I know, it’s not the most exciting topic but hey, anything that involves shopping, I’m game!

Even though in the medical fellowship/residency interview world, the dress code is pretty….boring/standard (black/blue/grey suit, button-up collared shirt/bouse, minimal/modest heels, minimal natural-looking make-up), I took this opportunity to scour the internet for some interview stylespiration.  Because, I have to try to make everything fun *shrug* lol.

Something similar to the last style collage is probably what I’ll end up going with for my interviews because it’s very clean cut but more professional than fashionable…which is something that I actually need to blog about soon….

But! That’s another story for another time. What do you guys usually wear for your job interviews?  Let me know below! Even share links to some of your favorite interview pieces, and let me know if you want to share my final interview look with you guys and maybe I’ll do a recreation of it if you’d like 🙂

Until next time….

Love and God Bless,

– T
