One of the many awesome things that I really love about blogging is being able to collaborate with some very talented individuals. For those of you who have been long-time readers, you’re familiar with some of the fun collabs I’ve done in the past including:
Well this time around I got to combine “playing model” and styling for a really fun and unique collaboration!
One of my friends from (the real) HU undergrad days, Lauren Larry, RCS, recently became a certified/licensed Life Coach and Relationship Coaching Specialist and is starting out her business/practice as The Golden Life Coach. And as a part of her golden life philosophy, she (like I do) believes that looking good is half the battle to feeling great! So she solicited my help to put together a little spring lookbook of sorts, with affordable yet stylish items, of what I would consider some spring essentials for 2014.
I definitely wanted to make this post special because it was for such a great launch/endeavor. So I enlisted the help of another really great photographer with whom I’ve been dying to work (well….we’ve been dying to work together I should say lol), Justin L. Fulwood of JusPosé Photography, and finally got the chance to do so! The photos turned out AMAZING! I’m such a lucky girl to have such talented people in my life! (^_^)
But enough of me blabbing! Without further delay, here are the 3 looks I created:
LOOK #1: BOLD BRIGHT BLAZER
Green military inspired blazer: Forever21 (similar on eBay)
Black Cami: Target Merona Collection
Black pleated jacquard skirt: Zara (similar structure HERE)
Leopard print platform pumps: Forever21 (similar at Charlotte Russe)
LOOK #2: STATEMENT SCARF
Bold floral scarf: Charlotte Russe (similar HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE)
White V-neck Tee: Target Merona Collection
Distressed denim shorts: bebe (similar HERE and HERE)
White platform trainers: Target Xhilaration Saraphina platform sneakers (similar at H&M)
LOOK #3: FLORAL DRESS
I had so much fun shooting with Justin, and I have a feeling we’ll be working together again in the near future 🙂
What do you guys think of my picks? What are your essential Spring/Summer 2014 Wardrobe pieces? I’d love to know so feel free to share in the comment section below! And let me know if you’d like to see more seasonal style posts like this one because Lauren and I may make this a quarterly thing if you do!
Thanks so much once again for stopping by and showing your support!
Until next time….
Love and God Bless,
